I wasted my hands...

Royal wanted to know what I was listening to while conducting daily
job search. Within minutes he had completely usurped my iPod,
gleefully jumping from song to song with a reckless smile. (He jumped
from Sunset Rubdown to The Budos Band to The Aliens to Fugazi to Sonic
Youth...)

This is his face about 2 1/2 minutes into the song he finally stopped
to listen to - the sad masterpiece 'Wasted' by country-punks LUCERO.

As soon as the song ended, he handed back the iPod, climbed off the
chair, and silently walked out the door...

Hella has decided to try her hand at tattooing, giving Spike this
backpiece.

This pic snapped when we discovered Spike in the clutches of the mad
alchemists! We busted in with flying fists and blazing bullets!
Kicking through their cyborg dogs, smashing their laser-sighted guard
pigeons, dodging the flamethrowers - we battled to his side and
spirited him away! Nobody's experimenting on OUR kids but US, dammit!

Hella had the "best birthday ever!" She got presents from her brothers, a new bike from Mom & Dad, and got to go to a little girls' spa for a mani/pedicure with Ingrid! OMG! How did she stand the excitement!?! After spa, it was back home for a homemade, giant, yellow, heart-shaped cake!
